"This was my second time staying at Casa Amorita. Rita maintains a perfect balance between being professional and being personable. Her staff are all pleasant as well. Casa Amorita cant be beat for location. You can walk anywhere from there....you are "steps" from the Malecon....as in its on the hill so you literally take steps down a couple blocks. You are nicely located between the gallaries and old town....everything is within walking distance! Plus, there isn't a better place in PV to watch the sunset than from Rita's rooftop.....and you can have Fernando mix you up a fabulous mango margarita to accompany the view! You can also hear the music and sounds of the square....you are definitely in the hub of the action and yet in a nice, private oasis..." Trip Advisor Member, April 28, 2007
"We chose Casa Amorita which Rita Love, a friendly and energetic American, built ten years ago on a hill behind the Cathedral with a stunning view of Banderas Bay based upon Trip Advisor reviews. After having returned from a one week vacation there, we can attest to the positive buzz about the property. Our favorite activity was enjoying the killer views from a lovely rooftop patio sipping homemade margaritas made with El Jimador tequila from the honor bar. From initial email communication to checkout, we felt as if she treated us like family. When we arrived, Rita offered us complimentary drinks and spent 30 minutes to explaining all the nearby restaurants, sights, and excursions. Our room was spotless and delivered the amazing ocean and town views that were promised. The common areas were immaculately swept and the lovely pool was cleaned every day. The delicious breakfasts were different every day of our stay. Rita really enjoys wowing her guests with hearty breakfasts that vary from savory to sweet. Her team of young employees delivered stellar service better than some luxury hotels where we've stayed." Trip Advisor Member, March 25, 2007
"This is my fourth time at Casa Amorita over a period of 9 years and it just gets better and better! The breakfasts are a sumptuous surprise every morning and there are no details overlooked, right down to freshly picked flowers arranged around each plate. As an artist, my senses are always filled at this wonderful place. I love the location of Casa Amorita for so many reasons... a 180 degree view of the Bay of Banderas, a sweeping view of Old Vallarta and its culture and close proximity to the activities and night life of the Malacon(a beautiful walkway along the waterfront). If you don't feel like going out some evening, you can sit on the rooftop lounge with a drink and listen to the music wafting up from the town square... your own private concert. Besides all these amenities, Rita, the owner, is always adding more to the plate. There is now a massage room and you can also make free phone calls to the USA. I give 2 thumbs up to Casa Amorita and will always be back for more." Trip Advisor Member, March 19, 2007
