The best part about Casa Amorita is that is in Puerto Vallarta. The energy there is great. Sun all the time. Blue water everywhere. Mountains that tumble to the ocean. Church bells ringing, roosters crowing, and music in the air all the time. Not to mention an incredible ocean sunset every single night. After dark, you can enjoy fireworks launched nightly from an old pirate ship in the bay. Casa Amorita

"Great long weekend getaway" I recently returned from four terrific nights at Casa Amorita. If you want an authentic Mexican experience in Old Puerto Vallarta then you must stay in el centro and Casa Amorita is located in the heart of it all. It's a short walk to the Malecon, restaurants & beaches. There is one caveat, however. Casa Amorita is located on a rather steep hill. It can be accessed either from the road or steps ascending from the town/ocean. Either way it could be difficult for those with mobility problems. A taxi back from the beach or dinner is an easy solution. Aside from that, everything was perfect. Casa Amorita is really beautiful with wonderful views of the town and ocean. Making reservations couldn't have been easier or more straightforward. Although Rita, the owner, wasn't there I was greeted by her wonderful assistant Gerardo. What a great guy! He will attend to all your needs in a very professional manner. Every morning you are greeted by the smiling, beautiful, wonderful cook, Lizette. The food is fresh, creatively prepared and always delicious. One more important thing I'd like to point out--I wandered a lot through the backstreets of the old section and walked back to the B&B at night after dinner and drinking and never once did I feel uncomfortable or nervous about being alone or vulnerable. I felt very, very secure all the time. This B&B is highly recommended. Stayed May 2016,

"Mexican Hacienda in the Heart of PV!" Casa Amorita is the best way to experience Mexico in PV. It's beautifully decorated, the food is to die for, and the team who runs the house are lovely. Also, mango margaritas by the pool are a dream come true as you look over the basilica onto the pacific ocean. If you want a Mexico pueblo experience right by the beach, then this is it! I can't wait to go back! Reviewed June 14, 2016

"Paradise near the Cathedral" Casa Amorita is an absolutely beautiful property, and honestly the pictures to not do it justice. My mother and I traveled during the low season, so the city was moving at a slower pace. For the most part we had the whole house to ourselves other than Geraldo and Jasmine who are the live on site. Geraldo was the innkeeper as went out of his way to help me practice my Spanish and assure that my mom and I had everything we needed. GREAT SERVICE! The breakfasts ( served at 9:30) are delicious, unique, and so filling ( thanks Lisset). Our room was smaller but had a fantastic view of the beach and the cathedral, however the best view is in Rita's room so if you get a chance go take a look. The Cathedral bells were not bothersome at all! The pool is a good size, and the view from the roof is beautiful. The bed is very comfortable. Overall we had a great time at Casa Amorita. Pick the room with the view if your okay with a medium sized room. Reviewed August 9, 2016

"Magical Retreat" I had the most amazing visit last March when I visited Puerto Vallarta and the highlight was my beautiful accommodations at Casa Amorita. If you are seeking a tranquil and intimate place to stay during your time in PV then Casa Amorita is the B&B for you! I believe this was my third time to lodge with Rita and every time is just a tad more amazing! Casa Amorita is centrally located in town so everything is truly at your fingertips! I love the view especially being next to the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe to hear the amazing bells that ring throughout the day. Rita and her staff will ensure that you are well taken care of and enjoy your visit to the fullest extent possible. You will not be disappointed with the mouth watering breakfast that is made homemade every morning during your stay. You do not want to miss out on this fabulous gem! Stayed March 2016

"I absolutely, whole-heartedly recommend this lovely B&B to any traveler visiting Puerto Vallarta. It is nestled in the crooked and picturesque cobblestone streets of old PV. It is easy walking distance to the beach, shops, cafes, and sites. The views are gorgeous--especially from the pool and rooftop patio. When I stayed there, my friend and I were the only guests and were really treated like family. Rita is amazing--she is friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us some very good restaurant ideas. The area surrounding Casa Amorita is safe and fairly quiet. I was able to sleep with the windows open every night. The only sounds that may be of issue would be from the cathedral located a couple streets away. I actually found the clocktower chimes (gongs?) to be charming, but it's all a matter of taste. I have been thinking about that place a lot lately and may just have to book myself another quiet getaway - I need to recharge my batteries!" Trip Advisor Member, April 2009

"My wife and I stayed at Casa Amorita during our honeymoon. We received fantastic service from Rita and her staff. Our room was very comfortable, with a large comfortable bed, air conditioning, sattelite TV, and a private balcony. The decor was also very tasteful. We enjoyed the close proximity to good restaurants and shopping, and Rita gave us helpful recommendations for dining and entertainment." Trip Advisor Member, September 2009

"From the moment I arrived, Rita and her staff made me feel as if I had found my home away from home. After presenting me with a cold cloth to refresh from my travels, Rita pointed out various points of interest on a map of Puerto Vallarta. During my stay, Rita was always there to recommend and book reservations for everything from dining to tours. As I was traveling solo, she even invited me to hear friends of hers, Beverly and Willow, performing jazz. Casa Amorita is in a great location, steps away from the Malecon(walkway along the ocean) and a nice 15 to 20 minute walk or inexpensive cab ride to everything else; including the beach. The breakfasts at Casa Amorita were delicious and the sunset views from the rooftop terrace were amazing. This B&B is worth every peso! Trip Advisor Member, November 2009

"Wow, wow, wow. Staying at Casa Amorita was such an amazing and wonderful experience from start to finish. Rita (the owner) was on top of everything and made reserving a room and finding the house once we arrived so easy. The place is absolutely beautiful. It was super clean and the decor was really nice. Our room and patio were perfect and the bathroom was nice as well. There was a water pressure problem one day that was resolved quickly and we barely noticed. Still, the best parts of Casa Amorita were the amazing breakfasts and the great staff. Every morning Rita and her staff cooked us such a wonderful and large breakfast that we didn't need to eat lunch during our entire stay. On top of that, Rita did a wonderful job of recommending restaurants and activities that made our days and nights so much fun. PV is a great place to go and Casa Amorita is right in the middle of everything, making it easy to get around. We hope to make it back some day soon. We will never forget our stay!"
